Itinerary

Spend two days exploring the Uyuni Salt Flats and the Tomave mining route, discovering Andean villages, colorful lagoons, and hot springs. This tour is ideal during the rainy season.

  • Day 1

    Train Cemetery — Explore English and French locomotives dating back to the 1870s.

    Colchani Community — Discover traditional salt processing, local handicrafts, and wool textiles.

    Great Uyuni Salt Flats — Visit the saltwater springs, the Salt Hotel, and the Dakar Rally Monument. Lunch served in the middle of the Salt Flats.

    Incahuasi Island — Access depends on the amount of water covering the Salt Flats. The island may be inaccessible during the rainy season.

    Sunset and Toast — Enjoy the reflections across the flooded Salt Flats and share a celebratory toast with the group.

    Overnight stay at Hotel Kachi in Uyuni.

  • Day 2

    Pulacayo Mining Village — Departure at approximately 9:00 a.m. after breakfast.

    Tomave Village — Visit the church and the Stone City.

    Celeste and Verde Lagoons

    Hot Springs and Sauna

    Return to Uyuni between 4:00 and 6:00 p.m.

Optional Tour — Stargazing and Sunrise

Depart at 4:00 a.m. and head onto the Salt Flats to admire the stars and watch the sunrise. Return at 8:00 a.m. A professional photographer is included. Please inquire about the price before the tour begins.
